Unplugged and Play : Homemade edible play dough

Assalamualaikum

Last 2 months, I have been on medical leave for three days. Thank you to my daughter whose accidentally inherit her eye infection to me. Haha. No I really mean it. Thank you! Finally I can have a long holiday but surely not the peaceful one. Well of course I need to take care of Amni and by taking care of her I mean "Saya yang menurut perintah tuan puteri". Gosh toddler is so bossy. Everything must be about her. Everyday want to swim in her tiny pool. Nowadays she only want me to carry her around. I bet she really think she so light huh?

Our activity start with she's taking bath in her pool. Then breakfast. Little bit of reading or playing with her toys all day. Lunch. Sleeping in between (Thank god I get to exercise!).

So when we have two days with the same activity, I feel bored. Yeah me not her. Hehe. I know I need some project to do. I open the unplugged and play book, searching for recipe to make a homemade edible play dough. Man it was so easy! Just a few ingredient and tarraa you will have your own play dough. If you search on Pinterest you can get so many recipes ie: ice cream play dough. Woah!

So here the recipe of play dough version on this book:
1 cup of flour
1 cup of water
1/4 cup of vegetable oil (I don have one so I just use cooking oil)
2 teaspoon of cream of tartar
1/4 cup of salt (I think it was to much, so i just use 1 teaspoon)
Food coloring

The step-by-step? Haha too easy. Throw all ingredient in a saucepan. Mix until incorporated. Whisk on heat for 5 minutes or until the mixture become dough, not sticky. Then put coloring as you like.

Done.

Easy peasy.

Oh forgot. This homemade dough hanya bertahan selama 3 hari.
