Amni's Playroom

Assalamualaikum

I sangat excited nak cerita pasal playroom untuk Amni ni. Dulu masa sebelum Amni lahir ada juga la berangan nak buat bilik bayi.

Nursery room macam cerita orang putih tu tapi disebabkan duduk rumah sewa, angan-angan tu mati camtu je la. 

Now Amni dah semakin membesar, I nak sangat la decorate bilik for her tapi DH tak setuju. He ask me to wait for our own house jugak. 

Hati mak-mak ni kan mana boleh tunggu. Nak giler rasanya asyik men'decorate' dalam kepala je. Haha I memang suka berangan. Beside I really want her to have a proper 

place to learn, play and explore. So untuk memuaskan hati, I decide to do a little corner for her. I consider this as a project for me. Sangatlah teruja. Hoho.

Keep on goole and search the best way to minimize the space. How to keep toys organize and make the corner exciting for her.

This is when Pinterest have safe my life. Cheywah! Haha. Banyak idea yang dikongsi dalam tu membantu I untuk complete kan this little project.

Basically it was more like a corner than a room because later her room akan digunakan untuk tidur juga. Can't afford to have one room specific untuk playroom je. Kopak maknya!

Ini pon at first DH tak berapa setuju sebab dia takut I tak boleh maintain the tidiness. FYI, DH sangat particular about kebersihan rumah. I lak yang stress! Haha.

I promise him I will monitor dan make sure bilik tu akan sentiasa kemas. Well takdelah setiap masa. Kalau gitu Amni tak boleh main pape langsung. Pujuk-pujuk DH setuju.

Jadi bermulalah aktiviti membeli-belah di IKEA. As usual, so far IKEA sangatlah kena dengan jiwa I. Carik dah perabot kat Kuantan ni tapi berkenan kat IKEA gak. But only for certain furniture. Ada je perabot lain I berkenan kat Kuantan ni. 

Dah beli dan pasang semua, inilah bilik nya...

The alphabet and number stick on the wall came from playmat Amni yang dibeli dari Cosway. Playmat on the floor dah tak sesuai dengan Amni. Bila I letak on the wall barulah dia excited nak nyanyi lagu ABC sambil tunjuk huruf. The table set and book ledge from Ikea. The 'Girls Rock' decoration bought from Mr. DIY.

I suka idea buku disusun macam tu. It's easy for Amni to pick any book she like.

On the other side, she will 'cook' for me. Hehe.

Aaahh I'm such a happy mummy. I rasa big accomplishment dapat buat corner macam ni. For me this is consider an unplugged and play project. She was excited to play around.
